Blender 5.1 Python Script Required: Daz G8/8.1 to UE5 MetaHuman Bind Pose Automation We are looking for a Technical Artist or Python developer experienced with the Blender 5.1 API (bpy) to build a standalone utility script that automates alignment of a Daz Genesis 8 / 8.1 skeleton to the Unreal Engine 5.8 MetaHuman relaxed bind pose. The goal is to create a reliable pipeline that handles full skeletal alignment, rest pose baking, and export preparation for UE5 MetaHuman compatibility. Project Requirements The script must run directly inside Blender’s Text Editor and perform the following: - Map Genesis 8/8.1 skeleton to MetaHuman pose requirements - Apply correct rotation offsets for full body and finger joints - Handle coordinate space conversion automatically (no manual adjustments) - Bake results as a new Rest Pose in Edit Mode while preserving hierarchy - Maintain rig integrity including custom bone shapes and constraints - Recalculate or correct vertex weights to match updated bone positions - Export clean FBX compatible with UE5.8 MetaHuman pipeline - Ensure no bind pose mismatch or deformation issues during import Deliverable - A single well-commented Python (.py) script - Compatible with Blender 5.1 and Unreal Engine 5.8 - Fully standalone (run from Blender Text Editor) Proposal - start MetaHuman - only $60-$80, 3 days, else bot To Apply Please include: - Experience with Blender Python scripting (bpy) - Experience with Daz Genesis to Unreal workflows - Confirmation that you can accept Milestone 1 (screen-recording proof stage) - Relevant previous work examples if available
