About the project
I have two product lines moving into prototyping and need full-cycle mechanical design support in both 2D and 3D. 1. Metal speakers • I need the complete design package, covering every external detail of the housing as well as all internal mechanical components, mounting points, fasteners, airflow or acoustic channels, and any fixtures required for assembly. • Drawings must be production-ready with clear tolerances and a bill of materials so that a sheet-metal shop can fabricate directly from your files. 2. Wooden products • These range from small accessories to medium-sized enclosures. I need clean 2D shop drawings plus matching 3D models that account for joinery, grain direction, and standard woodworking tolerances. Preferred tools are SolidWorks or Fusion 360 for the 3D work and any CAD package that exports DWG/DXF for the 2D drawings; STEP files will be needed for hand-off to manufacturers. All files should stay fully parametric so revisions are quick. Deliverables • Native CAD files (SLDPRT/SLDASM or F3D) • Exported STEP and STL models • Production-ready 2D drawings in PDF and DWG/DXF • Consolidated BOM for each product line I’ll supply preliminary sketches, target dimensions, and performance requirements once we start. If you have experience designing acoustic enclosures or complex wood joinery, that will be a plus.
