About the project

I have a set of raw point-cloud files captured through 3D scanning and I need them professionally processed. Your job is to take the scans from their current state—unregistered, noisy, and full of stray points—and turn them into clean, accurate geometry that I can immediately bring into downstream CAD, modeling, or visualization workflows. Because the source is 3D Scanning data, I’m expecting the usual challenges: varying point density, minor misalignments between passes, and the occasional occlusion. I want you to handle registration, noise removal, outlier filtering, and any hole filling that improves surface continuity without losing real-world accuracy. If you can produce an optional watertight mesh alongside the cleaned point cloud, that is a bonus. I haven’t locked in the export format yet, so please be ready to supply the final deliverable in standard e-57. Deliverables I need from you: • Cleaned and registered point-cloud file • A concise process report (what you did, settings/software used) • Optional mesh file if you generate one Feel free to use whichever tools you prefer—CloudCompare, MeshLab, Autodesk ReCap, Trimble, Faro Scene or proprietary software—so long as the results are consistent and precise. Let me know the turnaround time you can commit to, and attach a brief note on similar scan projects you’ve completed so I can gauge fit quickly. It is also important to accurately survey the topography of the site, including the adjoining terrain of the neighboring properties. Please let me know your estimated costs for this service. I require the point cloud to be processed in both 2mm and 5mm resolutions. Attached is a screenshot of the property.
