Design CNC Vertical Turret Lathe
INR 75000–150000
About the project
I need a complete mechanical and structural design for a CNC Vertical Turret Lathe that will machine metal parts and handle turning, drilling and boring operations on the same setup. The concept should cover the full machine envelope—from base casting and column rigidity through spindle layout, turret configuration and axis drives—so that the final drawings are immediately ready for fabrication and assembly. We can refine the exact swing, table diameter and spindle power together, but the design must already account for high-torque metal cutting, proper chip evacuation and thermal stability. Please work in the CAD/CAE environment you are most comfortable with (SolidWorks, Inventor, CATIA, NX or comparable) as long as you can give me neutral file exports (STEP/IGES) and detailed 2D manufacturing drawings. Deliverables I expect: • 3D parametric model of the full machine • Exploded and assembly drawings with GD&T • Bill of materials with commercial part specifications • Strength and vibration analysis reports for the main structural members • Recommendations for servo motors, ball screws, bearings and control integration * Operating automation required I will review the design against ISO machining standards and our in-house build processes, so please keep tolerance stacks, service access and coolant routing clearly documented. Let me know your estimated timeline and any early questions so we can move quickly from concept to build-ready files.
