About the project

Subject: Project Details & Technical Requirements for Roblox Characters (Custom Skinned Mesh) Hello! We are developing a Roblox game project using a custom Skinned Mesh system. We already have the concept visuals and references for the characters; we only need the 3D modeling and rigging work done. We will be starting this project with an initial batch of 3 characters. For a seamless engine integration and mobile optimization, please strictly follow these technical requirements for each model: Polygon Limit: To ensure mobile performance, the total polygon count of each character must strictly not exceed 6,000 Tris (Triangles). Mesh Preparation (Single Mesh): Before rigging, please join all separate parts (body, hair, clothes, accessories) into ONE SINGLE MESH. Do not leave them as separate objects. Rigging & Dynamic Bones: Attach a standard humanoid skeleton. Please add extra bones (jiggle bones) to the hair, capes, and dangling accessories so we can animate them dynamically in the game engine. Ensure the Weight Painting is flawless, especially around the joints, to prevent any clipping or tearing during walk/attack animations. Textures (Baking): Roblox does NOT support Blender material nodes. All colors, shadows, and details must be fully BAKED into a single Image Texture (Color/Albedo Map). Resolution Limit: The final baked texture file must be strictly 1024x1024 pixels or lower. Delivery Format: Please deliver the final rigged .FBX file (Binary) and the separate 1024x1024 .PNG texture file for each character so we can easily assign them via TextureID in the engine.
