About the project

Hi! I’m looking for help creating a functional 3D-printable educational material. I need a prototype for a cursive handwriting marble ramp. The model should be a flat rectangular letter plate with a recessed, smooth U-shaped channel in the shape of a lowercase cursive letter. A 10mm ball bearing should roll through the channel in the correct handwriting stroke order. For the first prototype, I’d like to start with lowercase cursive “c” or “a.” The design should include: ● a start cup ● an end catch ● raised walls along the marble path ● a smooth groove sized for a 10mm ball bearing ● baseline and midline guide markings ● a numbered start point ● rounded corners ● printable in PLA on a Bambu A1 ● no supports if possible This is a functional 3D printing project, so the marble needs to actually roll smoothly through the path. I can provide a drawing of the handwriting stroke path with arrows. I would like both the printable STL/3MF file and the editable source file.
