About the project
I am an Unreal Engine developer currently managing several projects and looking for a reliable assistant to support me with character development tasks. Before starting a long-term collaboration, I'd like to begin with a small paid test project with a budget of up to $100. The goal is to evaluate your Unreal Engine skills, communication, attention to detail, and ability to follow technical instructions. The work may include: - Importing and configuring a character model - Setting up skeletal meshes and materials - Retargeting character animations - Configuring an Animation Blueprint - Setting up basic locomotion, including idle, walking, running, and jumping - Fixing character rigging, animation, or movement issues - Integrating the character into an existing Unreal Engine project - Testing and optimizing the character setup Required skills - Strong experience with Unreal Engine 5 - Blueprint Visual Scripting - Animation Blueprints - State Machines and Blend Spaces - Character Movement Component - Materials and textures - Basic Unreal Engine debugging and optimization Experience with MetaHuman, Control Rig, IK Rig, IK Retargeter, C++, Blender, Maya, Mixamo, or Motion Capture is a plus. Deliverables - A working character integrated into the Unreal Engine project - Properly configured animation and movement - Clean and organized Blueprints - Any identified issues fixed or clearly documented - A brief explanation of the completed work Budget The budget for this initial test project is up to $100. Successful completion may lead to regular, long-term Unreal Engine work across multiple projects.
