Benzene Molecule Ball-and-Stick 3D Model

A ball-and-stick model of benzene, C6H6: six black carbon atoms in a flat hexagonal ring, each bonded to a blue hydrogen atom, with alternating double bonds shown. It is the classic aromatic ring of organic chemistry.

Technical details: about 45,000 polygons and 26,000 vertices with four materials, UV-mapped and game-ready, scaled to 50 cm for easy viewing (real molecule about 0.5 nanometres across).

Available as GLB, FBX, OBJ and Blender (.blend). Use the GLB for web viewers and three.js, the FBX for Unity, Unreal or Cinema 4D, the OBJ as a widely supported static mesh, and the .blend to edit it directly in Blender. AiZity cleaned up the original (centred, grounded and renamed the parts), resized it to AiZity's catalogue scale and converted it to these formats.

Good for chemistry lessons, molecular biology, exam revision visuals and science e-learning.
