Description

A medieval counterweight trebuchet, the siege engine used from the 12th to the 15th century to hurl heavy stones at castle walls, with a long throwing arm, a weight box and a timber frame.

Technical details: about 251,000 polygons and 140,000 vertices, UV-mapped, with ten materials, resized to about 10 m long, close to a real trebuchet.

Available as GLB, FBX, OBJ and Blender (.blend). Use the GLB for web viewers and three.js, the FBX for Unity, Unreal or Cinema 4D, the OBJ as a widely supported static mesh, and the .blend to edit it directly in Blender. AiZity cleaned up the original (centred, grounded and renamed the parts), resized it to real-world scale and converted it to these formats.

Good for medieval history and physics lessons, castle siege scenes, strategy games and documentaries.
