Ancient Chinese Bronze Owl Wine Vessel 3D Model

A digitised Shang dynasty bronze ritual wine vessel (zun) in the shape of an owl, made in the 13th–12th century BCE and held by the Minneapolis Institute of Art. Its body is covered in intricate cast patterns, with feathered wings, sturdy clawed feet and a removable owl's-head lid.

Technical details: about 65,000 polygons and 43,400 vertices, UV-mapped and animated, with materials and textures; it is not rigged. The included animation shows the lid. It is not flagged as game-ready, so use it for detailed renders and web viewers, or decimate it for real-time apps.

Available as GLB, FBX, OBJ and Blender (.blend). Use the GLB for web viewers and three.js, the FBX to keep the lid animation in Unity, Unreal, Maya or 3ds Max, the OBJ as a static mesh for broad compatibility, and the .blend to edit it directly in Blender.
