Description
The standard helmet of a Roman legionary, or galea, in steel with brass trim, a reinforcing brow ridge, a wide neck guard and hinged cheek pieces. It protected the soldiers who built the empire.
Technical details: about 25,500 polygons and 14,400 vertices, UV-mapped and game-ready, with one material and texture maps, scaled to 50 cm for easy viewing (real size about 30 cm).
Available as GLB, FBX, OBJ and Blender (.blend). Use the GLB for web viewers and three.js, the FBX for Unity, Unreal or Cinema 4D, the OBJ as a widely supported static mesh, and the .blend to edit it directly in Blender. AiZity cleaned up the original (centred, grounded and renamed the parts), resized it to AiZity's catalogue scale and converted it to these formats.
Ideal for Roman history lessons, museum displays, reenactment visuals and historical games.
