Description
A Mil Mi-8 medium twin-turbine transport helicopter, a type designed in the Soviet Union and flown worldwide, with a long fuselage, five-blade main rotor, tail rotor, round windows and a weathered grey camouflage finish. It is designed as a digital prop for games, film and visualisation.
Technical details: about 41,000 polygons and 39,000 vertices, UV-mapped and game-ready, with five materials and texture maps, scaled to 20 m long for AiZity's catalogue scale (real size about 25 m long including the rotor). It suits airfields and battle scenes in real time.
Available as GLB, FBX, OBJ and Blender (.blend). Use the GLB for web viewers and three.js, the FBX for Unity, Unreal or Cinema 4D, the OBJ as a widely supported static mesh, and the .blend to edit it directly in Blender. AiZity cleaned up the original (centred, grounded and renamed the parts), resized it to AiZity's catalogue scale and converted it to these formats.
