Description
Two virus particles shown in cross-section, revealing the outer spike proteins, the envelope, the capsid and the coiled genetic material inside, in bright teaching colours.
Technical details: about 156,000 polygons and 81,000 vertices, UV-mapped, with nine materials, scaled to 50 cm wide for easy viewing (a real virus is about 0.0001 mm across).
Available as GLB, FBX, OBJ and Blender (.blend). Use the GLB for web viewers and three.js, the FBX for Unity, Unreal or Cinema 4D, the OBJ as a widely supported static mesh, and the .blend to edit it directly in Blender. AiZity cleaned up the original (centred, grounded and renamed the parts), resized it to AiZity's catalogue scale and converted it to these formats.
Good for virology and microbiology lessons, vaccine explainers, health content and science fairs.
