About the project

I need my five-storey family home recreated as a single, watertight 3D file that I can send straight to a printer. I will supply a full set of exterior reference photos; there are no interior shots, so the job focuses only on the outside. Every visible façade detail—windows, doors, cornices, balcony rails—should be represented so the miniature feels true to life. Before handing over the file, please make sure the mesh is 100 % manifold, free of flipped normals, non-manifold edges, or self-intersections. Keep curves smooth but don’t over-load the model with unnecessary polygons. All walls must be at least 2 mm thick and the geometry should avoid extreme overhangs that would force heavy supports in FDM or resin printers. I would like a set of realistic textures applied for presentation renders (think clean diffuse maps rather than complex PBR setups), but the final print-ready export itself can remain colour-agnostic. Deliverables • Print-ready binary .STL or .OBJ of the complete building • The native scene file (Blender, 3ds Max, Maya, SketchUp, or similar) with the texture set applied • A few high-resolution preview renders showing each side of the model Acceptance criteria • Mesh passes manifold and integrity checks in Netfabb or similar • Minimum wall thickness verified at 2 mm or more throughout • Overhangs kept within printer-friendly angles (<45° preferred) • Detail level matches provided photos for all exterior elements If this sounds straightforward for you, let’s get started—just tell me which software you prefer and how many photos you’ll need to begin.
