Realistic Game Character Model
USD 10–30
About the project
I’m building an action-adventure game and I need a single, fully-finished 3D character that looks and feels real on screen while still running smoothly in-engine. You’ll take my reference material (I’ll share sketches and mood boards as soon as we start) and turn it into a production-ready asset. The model has to be sculpted in high detail, then retopologised and UV-unwrapped for a clean, game-friendly mesh. I’m targeting current-gen performance, so please keep the poly count efficient without sacrificing the realism that drives an immersive action title. Clean PBR textures—albedo, normal, roughness, metallic, and ambient occlusion—are essential, preferably at 4 K so I can down-res if needed. Deliverables • High-poly sculpt and low-poly game mesh (FBX or OBJ) • Non-overlapping UVs and baked maps (normal, AO, curvature) • PBR texture set in PNG/TGA (4 K) • Character in a standard T-pose, ready for rigging (or rigged if you offer it) Acceptance criteria • No shading or mesh artifacts when imported into Unity/Unreal • Poly budget suitable for a third-person action character (~30–60 K tris) • File structure clearly labeled for immediate drop-in use Experience with ZBrush, Blender/Maya, Substance Painter/Designer, and real-time optimisation is a big plus. If this sounds like your wheelhouse, let’s talk so I can send you the concept pack and we can lock in the schedule.
