About the project

I’m in the design phase of a new residential build and I need a formal Energy Rating Index calculation prepared to ANSI / RESNET / ICC 301-2022. The goal is simple: document an ERI score below 61 so the project can meet the ERI compliance alternative of the energy code before we submit for permit. New Freelancers without a minimum of ten previous reviews do not need to apply. You will receive the architectural plans, mechanical schedules and preliminary envelope specifications. The analysis must account for the heating and cooling systems as well as the insulation levels and window performance we have selected. Lighting and appliances are outside the current scope. There will be no insulation surrounding the existing foundation but there will be 2x24 inch R-10 rigid insulation around the new foundation. Please use recognized RESNET-approved software, model any required reference home, and clearly show all input assumptions. I’ll rely on your report for code officials, so accuracy and clear documentation are critical. Deliverables: • Signed PDF of the full ERI report, ready for submittal • Summary sheet highlighting the final score and prescriptive adjustments, if any • Native project file from the energy-modeling software for future revisions If additional tweaks are needed to push the score lower, include your recommendations in the summary.
