About the project

A large-scale rebrand is underway across our nationwide retail network and the next critical phase is the coordinated rollout of both 2D and 3D signage inside and outside every store. The mix ranges from wayfinding panels and window vinyls to fabricated channel letters and illuminated fascia elements, all of which must align with the new brand standards already approved. Scope of work We need the project manager to provide a single point of coordination, ie: 1: to organise the audit of the sites to be rebranded if within his/her area, and/or to organize subcontractors or work colleagues in that's not the case. 2: Once the audit has been done, to collect the information, to analyze it, and to specify the branding direction for each site. The branding direction will then be issued to the design team who will prepare drawings to meet the brand specifications. 3: to review the designs from the design team and ensure that they match the client's expectations, 4: to then issue the design to the client's regional manager for review and approval. 5: once approved by the client, to organize tenders with signage contractors, to assess the tenders and to make recommendations 6: finally, once a successful contractor has been engaged, to coordinate the manufacture, installation, and quality control Key activities • Review existing CAD drawings, elevations and brand guidelines. • Generate site-specific signage schedules (both 2D and 3D) covering interior and exterior placements. • Liaise with fabricators to confirm lead times, finishes, and QA sign-offs. • Create and maintain a live rollout tracker covering permits, production, shipping, and installation status. • Coordinate installers, ensuring safe work practices and photo documentation after completion. • Report weekly on progress, risks, and any value-engineering opportunities that preserve brand intent. Acceptance criteria • Store-by-store signage schedule signed off by me and the design lead. • All production files issued to vendors error-free. Tools & formats Experience with project management platforms (Smartsheet or similar), Adobe Illustrator for quick artwork checks, and familiarity with common sign-making materials (aluminium, acrylic, LED modules) will be important for smooth communication with vendors.
