Freelance Mechanical Design Engineer (SolidWorks – SS Fabrication) Company: Supermech Machine Tool Location: Tahliwal, Una, Himachal Pradesh (Remote / Freelance) About Us Supermech Machine Tool is engaged in the design and fabrication of stainless steel equipment for commercial kitchens, pharmaceutical, food processing, and industrial applications. We are looking for an experienced freelance mechanical designer for long-term collaboration. Responsibilities Create 3D models using SolidWorks. Prepare detailed fabrication drawings with dimensions and tolerances. Design sheet metal parts, weldments, and assemblies. Generate BOM (Bill of Materials) with material specifications and weights. Prepare DXF files for laser cutting. Recommend suitable SS material thickness and fabrication methods. Modify existing designs as per customer requirements. Required Skills SolidWorks (Sheet Metal, Weldments, Assemblies) AutoCAD (2D Drawings) Experience in SS 304 and SS 316 fabrication Knowledge of commercial kitchen and pharmaceutical equipment Understanding of laser cutting, bending, TIG welding, and polishing processes Ability to provide manufacturing-ready drawings Deliverables SolidWorks Part & Assembly Files 2D PDF Drawings DXF Files BOM with Weight Exploded Assembly Drawing (if required) Rendering Images (optional) Experience Minimum 3 years in stainless steel equipment design. Experience in commercial kitchen, food processing, or pharma equipment will be preferred. Engagement Project-based or monthly freelance contract. Long-term work available for the right candidate. Interested designers are requested to share their portfolio, previous project samples, expected charges, and delivery timelines.
