About the project
Project Overview I have already created a Blender file of the polymer architecture, which will serve as the foundation for this project. The task is to refine, enhance, and elevate this existing model into a polished, publication-ready journal cover illustration. This is not a from-scratch build, but a scientific visualization and refinement task. The goal is to produce a high-quality scientific illustration that clearly communicates the structure and behavior of a polymer-based hydrogel system, while aligning with the visual standards of high-impact journals. Core Focus Areas • Molecular structure: Depict the polymer network at the nanoscale with clear representation of architecture and morphology (e.g., backbone, side chains, network formation). • Mechanical properties: Visually communicate elasticity and compressive behavior using clean, minimal cues (e.g., deformation, stress–strain overlays, or schematic compression elements). • Hydration process: Integrate a subtle visual element (gradient/sequence) to represent water uptake, swelling, and hydration dynamics within the network. Stylistic Direction The illustration should follow a modern, minimal, and scientifically elegant aesthetic, similar to journal covers (e.g., Advanced Materials, Macromolecules): Clean composition (no clutter) Subtle gradients and controlled color palette Refined lighting and material rendering Strong visual hierarchy for scientific clarity I also have preliminary design concepts that can guide the composition. Deliverables 1️⃣ Journal cover artwork — polymer hydrogel concept 2️⃣ Main body illustration — showing gelation mechanism 3️⃣ Graphical abstract — concise visual summary 4️⃣ High-resolution outputs: • CMYK (print) • RGB (web) 5️⃣ Layered source files: • Preferably Blender 6️⃣ Brief legend / annotated call-out sheet explaining visual elements Project Scope & Budget This may extend to 3–4 related projects on polymer hydrogels. Budget: ₹ 5,000 project (Negotiable based on quality and expertise) Timeline & Revision Loop • First draft: within 2 weeks • Up to two refinement rounds to ensure scientific accuracy and visual quality Intellectual Property & Confidentiality I have already created the base polymer model in Blender, which is my original work and must be treated as strictly confidential. All concepts, drafts, and final artwork produced for this project must remain confidential and may not be shared, displayed (including in portfolios), or reused without my written permission. The provided Blender file and associated concepts must not be replicated, adapted, or reused for any other project or client. Upon final payment, full intellectual property rights (including copyright and reproduction rights) will be transferred exclusively to me. A non-disclosure agreement (NDA) can be signed prior to sharing detailed files or manuscript content if required.
