AI Workflow Optimization System

About the project

I’m ready to move my operations onto a single, AI-assisted workflow platform, and I need a data-savvy developer who can take me from raw information to clear, actionable insight. Top priority: the project workflow optimization system. While future phases may extend into customer-feedback analytics and general dashboards, this first engagement is all about streamlining how projects run day-to-day. My data sources already include task data, employee performance data, and resource-allocation data; the system you build must ingest, clean, and connect these three streams so I can monitor them in real time. Core objectives • Translate the above data into intuitive visual dashboards and drill-downs. • Layer in lightweight AI or rule-based automations—for example, predicting bottlenecks or surfacing overdue tasks—so managers see issues before they escalate. • Provide an architecture that leaves room to add classic workflow features such as task management, automated notifications, or progress tracking when we scale. Preferred stack I’m most comfortable with common analytics tools—Python (Pandas, scikit-learn), SQL, Power BI or Tableau for visualization, and a cloud database (PostgreSQL, BigQuery, or similar). If you have an alternative stack that hits the same goals, feel free to suggest it. Deliverables 1. A functioning web-based (or easily hosted) workflow optimization dashboard tied to my three data streams. 2. Annotated source code plus an ETL script or pipeline definition. 3. A short hand-over session or documentation that shows me how to update data connectors and adjust basic AI thresholds. Acceptance criteria • All three data types display on one consolidated view with filter and export options. • Predictive or rule-based alerts trigger correctly on a small sample dataset we provide. • Setup can be replicated from a clean environment using the documentation alone.
