Single-Cavity Hand Mould Design
INR 1500–12500
About the project
I need a single-cavity hand mould engineered for a small rubber component whose job is purely sealing. The finished part will sit comfortably under 50 mm in every direction, so I expect the tool layout to remain compact and easy to handle on a bench press or small hydraulic press. Here is what I require. • 3D CAD model of the complete mould (STEP or Parasolid) showing both halves, cavity, sprue/runner, and any ejector or knock-out details. • Fully dimensioned 2D manufacturing drawings with tolerances, material call-outs, and clear machining notes. • A brief design note explaining parting line choice, shrinkage allowance for the selected rubber, and estimated weight of raw compound per shot. • PDF and native files from your chosen platform—SolidWorks, NX, Fusion 360, or similar—so I can tweak the design later if needed. Acceptance criteria: the mould must close without flash greater than 0.05 mm around the seal lip, achieve cavity volume within ±2 %, and include alignment features that can be machined on a standard 3-axis mill. Turnaround is flexible for quality work, but please outline the steps you will take and the time each one is likely to need.
