About the project
My retail operation generates between $1 million and $5 million in annual sales, and I need a clear month-by-month view of where the money will sit over the next 12 months. The core aim is straightforward: tighter cash-flow management. Here’s what I must walk away with: • A 12-month revenue forecast grounded in realistic retail assumptions (seasonality, promotions, etc.) • An expense forecast that captures fixed and variable costs and highlights any cost-saving opportunities • A rolling cash-flow statement tying the two forecasts together, with commentary on potential shortfalls or surpluses Excel, Google Sheets, or another recognized financial-modeling tool is fine as long as formulas remain transparent and editable. Charts and concise narrative insights that make the numbers easy to digest are essential. Please share a brief note on your forecasting experience in retail (or similarly inventory-driven sectors) and attach one or two sample models or screenshots that prove your ability to translate data into clear, actionable insights.
