Website 3D Wire Coil Animation

About the project

My website showcases a single industrial product—a coiled wire—and I want visitors to see it come alive through a smooth, lightweight 3D animation. The goal is a short, looped sequence (around 5–10 seconds) that highlights the coil’s metallic sheen and precise turns while remaining small enough to load instantly on desktop and mobile. You’ll create a clean product model of the coil, texture it for realistic metal reflections, animate a gentle rotation or sweep that shows every angle, then export in web-friendly formats (GLTF/GLB for interactive embedding and MP4/WebM for fallback video). If you prefer Blender, Cinema 4D, or similar, that’s fine—as long as the final files import flawlessly into a Three.js or comparable viewer. Deliverables • Optimized 3D coil model with PBR materials • Seamless, looped 3D animation (5–10 s) • Exports: GLTF/GLB + MP4/WebM (1080p) • One-paragraph integration guide or sample HTML snippet Acceptance Criteria • File size kept reasonable for fast page load (target <5 MB for GLB) • No visible geometry errors or texture seams when viewed up close • Loop plays continuously without a hitch in modern browsers on desktop and mobile Send a quick note on your preferred software and a link to a similar animation you’ve delivered before, and we can get started right away.
