About the project
I already have a near-finished pen concept modelled in CAD; what I need now is a fresh set of expert eyes to make sure the entire piece is truly production-ready. We will walk through the current files together—cap, body, cartridge housing, every component—then tighten up the look and feel while making certain the pen can survive daily use without cracking or warping. Your background in plastics, 3D modelling and manufacturability is key. I’m especially keen on: • Subtle aesthetic tweaks that give the pen a premium presence • Engineering adjustments that boost long-term durability (wall thickness, ribbing, material choice, tolerances) Deliverables • Updated, fully parametric CAD files (STEP or native SolidWorks preferred) • A concise design note or drawing pack flagging each change and its impact on strength or appearance I’ll send the current models as soon as we start; from there we can iterate quickly until everything is locked for tooling.
