Rehabilitation Knee Brace CAD Design -- 2
USD 10–30
About the project
I need a detailed AutoCAD model of a hinged knee brace intended specifically for rehabilitation patients. The frame will be machined from aluminum, so every line must respect both manufacturability and patient comfort. The two key dimensions I will supply at the start are knee circumference and overall brace length; the geometry has to adapt perfectly to those figures. Hinge placement, strap routing, and padding recesses should all flow from those measurements so the brace maintains alignment through flexion without adding bulk. Deliverables: • Fully parametric 3D AutoCAD file (native .dwg) • Associated 2-D manufacturing drawings with tolerances, hole charts, and exploded view • A short PDF explaining how to modify knee-circumference and brace-length parameters without breaking the model Files should be ready for CNC milling and anodising, so please observe realistic bend radii and call out aluminum grades where relevant. If you have experience modelling medical devices or orthotics, mention it; otherwise, show a sample where precise human‐fit dimensions drove the design. I will review the first draft against the measurements and supply any clinical feedback before we finalise the drawings.
