About the project

I’m ready to take a new car-perfume vent clip into production and need a clean, fully manufacturable 3D model. The look is deliberately modern and the final part will be cast or CNC-machined in metal, so draft angles, wall thickness and radii must conform to standard tooling practice. I’ll share sketches, target dimensions and reference photos as soon as we kick off. From there, please create a parametric solid model and deliver: • Editable native file from your preferred platform (SolidWorks, Fusion 360, Inventor, etc.) • STEP and IGES exports for my supplier • A simple 2-D drawing or exploded view highlighting key dimensions and tolerances Acceptance criteria • Fits a typical 2–3 mm thick A/C vent blade without rattle • No undercuts that require complex tooling; 2° draft minimum on all faces • Fillets ≥0.4 mm appropriate for metal casting/machining • Model passes basic draft/wall-thickness analysis in your CAD system If you’ve taken metal parts from CAD to production before, that experience will be invaluable. Let me know which software you’ll use and how quickly you can turn around the first draft; I’d like to review an initial model within 3 days.
