Slicer & Print Optimization: Configure the precise slicing parameters for a Bambu Lab printer using TPU 95A filament.Wearable Durability Engineering: Establish a variable infill strategy (e.g., Gyroid) that delivers structural cushioning in the heel and flexibility at the toe crease, ensuring the sneaker can handle continuous, long-term wear without layer splitting or tearing.Orientation & Support Strategy: Determine the absolute best print orientation on the build plate to optimize mechanical strength and design a clean, easily removable support material strategy for the internal foot cavity.Collaboration with 2D Assembly: Ensure the final 3D file accurately aligns with our production workflow, which utilizes Silhouette Studio for leather pattern drafting and traditional upper-to-sole sewing. Proven experience slicing, printing, and testing functional, wearable 3D-printed footwear.Advanced knowledge of flexible elastomer characteristics (specifically TPU 95A).Please reply with a portfolio or photos showing real, physical, wearable 3D-printed shoes you have successfully engineered in the past. Brand Aesthetic & Intent: The project is for Blackout Kicks. The styling focuses on a clean street aesthetic featuring our distinct 'BK' and lightning bolt branding.Production Workflow Setup: Our in-house production pipeline integrates a Bambu Lab 3D printer for outsoles/lasts, Silhouette Studio for drafting/cutting leather panel patterns, a Glowforge laser for detailed logo engraving/appliqués, and industrial sewing machines for final upper assembly. The Freelancer's Core Goal: The candidate must possess specific expertise in configuring flexible elastomers. They will optimize our digital footwear files specifically for TPU 95A filament, engineering a variable internal infill strategy and ideal print orientation so the finished wearable sneaker handles continuous use without layer splitting or tearing at the natural foot creases. Delivery Expectations: Please specify whether you can provide a physical prototype printed at your facility and shipped directly to my address or if you will only deliver optimized digital 3D files (.3MF/.STL) ready for printing on my Bambu machine.
