About the project
I am looking for an experienced jewelry CAD designer to create a production-ready 3D CAD model of a custom championship ring inspired by the premium championship rings used in major professional sports leagues (NFL,NBA) This is not an engagement ring or fashion ring. It is a large men's signet-style championship ring featuring intricate engravings, gemstone settings, raised relief details, and premium craftsmanship. The design should be suitable for manufacturing in 18K gold or platinum. The initial prototype may be produced in silver or brass, but the CAD model should be suitable for premium production. Requirements: Strong experience with jewelry CAD. Experience designing signet rings, championship rings, or similarly detailed men's rings. Knowledge of stone settings and casting requirements. Ability to create clean, production-ready geometry. Deliverables: Editable native CAD file (.3dm, .jcd, etc.) Manufacturing-ready STL file 2–4 high-quality renders from different angles Up to 3 revision rounds The final model should be ready for 3D printing and casting with minimal or no additional CAD cleanup. Please include with your proposal: -Examples of previous jewelry CAD work (especially men's rings, championship rings, or signet rings). -The software you use. -Estimated timeline. -Number of revisions included.
