3D Character Animator for Ongoing Social Media Videos Job description We are looking for a highly skilled animation and social content creator to bring Pip, our 3D brand mascot, to life across Instagram, TikTok and Facebook. We will provide the approved Pip character references, branding, scripts and content direction. Your role is to turn these into polished, entertaining short-form videos. The company and full brand details will be shared only with shortlisted freelancers. What we need You will create short videos featuring Pip in real or photorealistic environments, such as venues, attractions, restaurants, accommodation, city locations and everyday situations. Pip must remain visually consistent in every video. His face, horns, proportions, clothing, colours, accessories and overall appearance must not change between scenes or posts. The finished videos should make Pip appear naturally present in each location, rather than simply placed over a stock image or background. Video requirements Vertical 9:16 format for Reels, TikTok and Shorts Usually 10–30 seconds long High-quality 3D character animation Natural body movements, gestures and facial expressions Accurate lip-sync when Pip is speaking Real or photorealistic backgrounds Realistic lighting, shadows and compositing Strong opening hooks Professional editing, sound effects and music Clear, correctly timed, burned-in subtitles Consistent subtitle styling High-resolution MP4 delivery Separate subtitle file when requested Pip may speak to the audience, react to situations, introduce activities, explain ideas, tell jokes or guide viewers through different locations and experiences. What we will provide Approved Pip character references Brand guidelines and colours Scripts, topics or key talking points Content direction for each video Feedback and approval We also want someone who can improve the pacing, storytelling and creative execution—not simply follow instructions mechanically. Essential experience Please apply only if you can demonstrate experience in: 3D character animation Maintaining the same character across multiple videos Compositing animated characters into real backgrounds Facial animation and expressions Lip-sync and dialogue animation Short-form social media editing Professional subtitles Instagram Reels and TikTok content You may use Blender, Cinema 4D, After Effects, Unreal Engine or suitable AI animation tools. The final result must look professional, and Pip’s appearance must remain consistent.
