Stylized Thread Lyric Video

About the project

I’m preparing to release a 30-minute concept album that tells a love story from first meeting through every high and low, and I want the music to live on YouTube as a single, continuous visual experience. Your task is to animate two protagonists made entirely of stylized, abstract thread and let them move through lush, natural environments—think misty waterfalls and quiet park paths—while the audio plays. The story needs to stay clear: gentle walks in the park, tender moments by the falls, subtle challenges that arise between them, and an eventual reconciliation. All of it should feel hand-crafted, with the texture of real yarn or embroidery translated into fluid animation. Just as important as the visuals, I need a fully timed lyric video. Every line must appear on-screen exactly when it’s sung, integrated into the scenery rather than floating as a generic overlay. I’ll provide the mastered audio, full lyrics, and any time-coded notes as soon as we start. Deliverables • One 30-minute 4K video (H.264 or ProRes) ready for direct upload to YouTube • Stylized/abstract thread animation featuring the two leads in waterfall and park settings • Synced, proof-checked on-screen lyrics plus a separate .srt caption file • A 30–60 second teaser cut for socials Acceptance Criteria • Lyric timing within ±0.2 s of the vocals • Smooth, story-driven scene changes—no dead frames or jarring cuts • Final render passes YouTube’s upload checks without dropped frames Preferred Tools & Approach Whether you work in Blender, After Effects, stop-motion with real thread, or another technique, I’m open—as long as the final piece captures that tactile thread aesthetic and runs smoothly for the full half-hour. I’m hoping to wrap the project in about three weeks but will prioritize quality over speed.
