Senior Interactive Web Designer + Creative Frontend Developer

About the project

i am looking for a senior interactive experience designer and creative frontend developer to create the visual language for a premium construction business website. This is not a standard brochure website job. I want a visually impressive, modern and interactive experience that shows visitors the difference between ordinary work and high quality workmanship through visuals, storytelling and interaction. The website already exists and uses Astro, React and Cloudflare. Backend support is available. I need a specialist who can lead the visual experience, design the layout and build the interactive frontend elements. What I need Design and build: 1. A high impact homepage 2. A reusable project page template 3. A reusable context page template for services, project types or other future content The homepage should feel premium, cinematic and interactive on desktop and mobile. Visual reference videos will be provided. The direction includes: - Interactive property or room visuals - Mouse movement and scroll based motion - 3D or layered visual scenes where appropriate - Strong editorial layouts, not ordinary stacked sections - Before and after or finish comparison experiences - The same room shown in different colour, finish or design directions - Real project evidence, photography, scope and visual proof - Premium typography, composition and motion design - Clear conversion paths without feeling cheap or overly sales focused The goal is to visually show visitors why the business is different, rather than relying only on written claims. Requirements - Proven experience designing and building high end interactive websites - Live examples you personally designed and/or built, not only Figma mockups - Experience with Three.js, WebGL, GSAP, Framer Motion or similar tools - Confidence working with Astro and React, or ability to provide a clean handover to an Astro/React developer - Strong mobile execution, not desktop only - Fast, accessible and SEO friendly implementation - Static and reduced motion fallbacks for interactive elements - No templates, generic layouts, copied designs or invented project claims Project process I want to begin with a paid design and strategy phase before approving the full build. First phase deliverables: - Visual direction and moodboard - Homepage story and section hierarchy - Desktop and mobile wireframes - Interactive and motion direction - Asset plan covering photography, video, 3D models and visualisations - Figma design for the homepage and two reusable page templates - Developer handover notes and component plan Once approved, the next phase is frontend implementation and integration into the existing website.
