About the project
Project Overview I already have a completed pendant lamp design and STL files. I want to create a table lamp version using the same lampshade. The lampshade design is already finalized and must not be changed. Your task is to design only the table lamp base (4 legs) and the mounting mechanism. Scope of Work Design a 4-leg table lamp base that matches the style shown in my reference images. Keep the overall design clean, minimal, and elegant. The base should be suitable for 3D printing. The proportions should match the existing lampshade. Lampshade Use the existing lampshade without modifying its exterior shape. The shade should remain hollow. The top of the lampshade should be open. Lampshade diameter: 250 mm (25 cm). Locking Mechanism Design a twist-lock (bayonet) connection between the lampshade and the base. Requirements: Locking tabs on the base. Matching slots inside the lampshade. Easy to assemble and remove. Strong and stable after locking. Dimensions Shade diameter: 250 mm Please create an initial preview with the leg height around 100 mm (10 cm) so I can review the proportions before finalizing. Deliverables Editable 3D source file (Fusion 360, Blender, SolidWorks, Rhino, or similar). STL files ready for 3D printing. Properly organized model. References I will provide: Existing STL files. Reference images for the leg design. Reference images for the twist-lock mechanism. Important This is not a new lamp design. It is an extension of an existing product, so the new base should preserve the same design language and feel like part of the same product family.
