I # Job Title: 3D Graphic Designer – Jewellery Videos ## Job Overview We are looking for a creative and detail-oriented **3D Graphic Designer** to produce high-quality short videos and animations for our jewellery website, social media channels, and digital advertising campaigns. The ideal candidate will have experience creating realistic 3D models, product animations, and visually engaging promotional content. You should understand how to present jewellery in a luxurious and attractive way, with particular attention to materials, lighting, reflections, gemstones, and fine product details. ## Key Responsibilities * Create realistic 3D models and animations of jewellery products, including rings, necklaces, bracelets, earrings, and gemstones. * Produce short product videos, typically between 5 and 30 seconds, for website banners, product pages, social media, and advertisements. * Develop 360-degree product rotations, close-up animations, logo reveals, and promotional video content. * Apply realistic gold, silver, platinum, diamond, gemstone, and other material textures. * Set up professional lighting, reflections, shadows, camera movements, and backgrounds. * Render high-quality videos while maintaining practical file sizes and formats for website use. * Edit rendered footage and add text, branding, transitions, music, or sound effects where required. * Work closely with the marketing, web development, photography, and product teams. * Follow brand guidelines and maintain a consistent luxury visual style. * Manage multiple projects and deliver content within agreed deadlines. * Make revisions based on feedback from the creative and marketing teams. * Organise and maintain 3D models, textures, project files, and completed video assets. ## Required Skills and Experience * Proven experience in 3D modelling, product visualisation, animation, and rendering. * A strong portfolio demonstrating realistic product animations or jewellery visualisation. * Proficiency in software such as Blender, Cinema 4D, Maya, 3ds Max, or similar. * Experience with rendering tools such as Cycles, V-Ray, Corona, Redshift, Octane, or KeyShot. * Knowledge of video-editing and motion-graphics software such as Adobe After Effects and Adobe Premiere Pro. * Strong understanding of lighting, materials, reflections, composition, camera movement, and colour. * Ability to create realistic metal, diamond, gemstone, and glass effects. * Excellent attention to detail and a strong sense of luxury design. * Ability to optimise videos for websites, mobile devices, social media, and digital advertising. * Good communication, organisation, and time-management skills. * Ability to work independently and respond positively to feedback. ## Preferred Qualifications * Previous experience working with jewellery, watches, luxury products, cosmetics, or fashion brands. * Understanding of jewellery construction, gemstones, precious metals, and product proportions. * Experience creating content for e-commerce websites. * Knowledge of web-friendly formats, compression, transparent-background video, and responsive media. * Experience producing content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and paid advertising. * Skills in graphic design, photo retouching, compositing, or visual effects would be an advantage. ## Typical Deliverables * Short jewellery product animations. * 360-degree product rotation videos. * Website hero-banner videos. * Social media reels and promotional clips. * New-collection launch animations. * Seasonal campaign content. * Animated product features and gemstone close-ups. * Branded logo and title animations. ## Employment Details **Job type:** Full-time, part-time, freelance, or contract **Location:** Remote or office-based **Working hours:** [Insert working hours] **Salary/rate:** [Insert salary or project rate] **Start date:** [Insert preferred start date] ## Application Requirements Applicants should submit: * An up-to-date CV. * A portfolio or showreel featuring relevant 3D work. * Examples of product or jewellery animations. * Details of the software and rendering tools used. * Availability and expected salary or freelance rate. * An estimated turnaround time for a 10–15 second jewellery animation.
