About the project
I’d like a clean, watertight 3D model for a medium-size surfboard fin that I can print in PLA on my FDM machine. The finished piece should stand somewhere between five and seven inches tall and be shaped for everyday surf conditions—balanced base, smooth rake, and no razor-thin edges that would snap in PLA. Deliverables • STL (or STEP) file ready for slicing • One or two quick renders so I can confirm the outline • Brief print notes: orientation, support strategy, infill, and layer height suited to PLA I’ll consider the job complete once the file slices error-free in Cura and passes a basic Netfabb repair check. Let me know if you need any extra measurements from the board before you start modeling—I’m happy to provide them.
