About the project
Hi, I’m looking to accurately 3D model a hub cap from a 1967 Ford XR Falcon. I have: - 250+ high-resolution photos of the hub cap from every angle - Some dimensions that can be used as reference measurements to scale the model accurately - Some lidar scans of the hub cap too The goal is to reverse-engineer the hub cap into a highly accurate 1:1 scale 3D model that I can use to 3D print a display replica. Accuracy is extremely important. I’m not looking for a model that simply looks similar — I need the geometry to be as close to the original physical hub cap as possible, with the dimensions correctly scaled to real life. I can provide all 250+ photos and the reference dimensions + lidar scans. I’m also happy to provide additional measurements/photos if needed during the modelling process. Ideally, I would like the final model supplied as a watertight OBJ or STL (happy to accept other file types). Reference photos attached. Do not send a bid if you will not honour it. MAX $50 Thanks!
