About the project

I'm looking for an animator to create engaging and educational 3D video shorts specifically designed for children aged 3-5 years, particularly those on the autism spectrum or with developmental delays. The videos will feature a Pixar-like animated style focusing on everyday milestones, teaching them through visuals, sign language, and limited spoken language. Initial episodes would address specific life tasks such as: - Episode 1: Brushing teeth - Episode 2 & 3: Potty training - Episode 4 & 5: Getting dressed Key Features: - Gentle pacing and engaging visuals centered around clear cues such as sign language gestures paired with spoken words (e.g., saying "potty" while doing the sign). - Highlighting challenges and successes of characters overcoming these tasks/milestones. - A heartwarming theme inspired by my grandson's journey with autism. Deliverables: - Two completed HD videos (initial focus), approximately 5–7 minutes each. - Editable project files in a format compatible with Blender, Maya, Cinema4D, or equivalent platforms. Ideal Candidate: - Experience in creating animated content targeted at preschool-aged children. - Background in accessible design emphasizing special needs audiences is a plus. Let’s collaborate on bringing this vision to life and expanding this into a meaningful series for little learners! Include relevant portfolio work if available.
