About the project
Freelance Siemens NX Pattern Designer Required (Foundry / Aluminium Casting) We are a small manufacturing business in India specializing in foundry patterns for aluminium castings used in automotive, industrial, and engineering components. We are looking for an experienced freelance Pattern Designer for long-term collaboration on a project basis. You should be able to communicate in hindi. Responsibilities - Create foundry patterns from 2D drawings, 3D models, or physical samples. - Design patterns suitable for aluminium sand casting. - Apply shrinkage, machining, and draft allowances. - Design split patterns, core prints, and core boxes where required. - Prepare VMC-ready CAD/CAM files and, if possible, CNC toolpaths. Preferred Software - Siemens NX (NX6/NX10/NX12 or newer) – Preferred - SolidWorks / Creo experience is also acceptable if files can be shared in compatible formats. Deliverables - Native CAD files (NX preferred) - STEP / IGES files - CAM program/toolpaths (if applicable) Requirements - Prior experience in foundry pattern design is essential. - Understanding of aluminium casting processes and machining allowances. - Ability to communicate over WhatsApp, phone, or email. - Must be able to work independently and meet agreed timelines.
