AutoCAD Mechanical System Design Drafting

About the project

I’m building a new mechanical system that centres on pumps and valves, and I need a qualified engineer to turn my concepts into production-ready documentation. Your main platform will be AutoCAD; every model, drawing and calculation must be delivered in native DWG along with exported PDFs. Scope • Translate my functional requirements into a complete mechanical layout. • Create detailed 3D and 2D AutoCAD models of the system, focusing on accurate pump and valve integration and all associated pipework, supports and fasteners. • Produce fully dimensioned manufacturing drawings with GD&T, material call-outs and an organised BOM. • Supply the underlying engineering calculations—flow, pressure drop, stress and any sizing formulas—to substantiate the design. Acceptance Criteria • All files open error-free in the latest AutoCAD release. • Drawings are to ISO standards and ready for fabrication without rework. • Calculations are clear, traceable and match the geometry shown. • Final package is submitted on or before the agreed deadline. If you have a proven track record in mechanical system design, particularly around pump and valve assemblies, and can keep communication concise and responsive, I’m ready to get started right away.
