3D Printable 31-Day Pill Container

About the project

I need an original pill-organiser that covers the entire month—31 separate compartments, one for every single day—so I never miss a dose again. The model must print cleanly on my Bambu Lab A1/H2-series printer without exotic supports or post-processing that would frustrate a casual home user. Here is what matters most to me: • Each day has its own clearly labelled compartment. I’m open on the overall shape, so feel free to explore rectangular, cylindrical, circular or even more creative geometries as long as the result is practical and space-efficient. • The lids or doors have to combine a genuinely child-resistant action with an easy-to-open motion for an adult who may have limited dexterity. • The labels (“Day 1”, “Day 2”, … “Day 31”) should be part of the print—either embossed/debossed text or an inlay channel for filament colour change—so nothing can peel off over time. • The design must fit within a 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume and be printable in PLA or PETG with a 0.4 mm nozzle. Deliverables 1. Print-ready STL (or 3MF) files for all parts. 2. Recommended slicer profile: layer height, infill, supports, filament changes, build-plate orientation. 3. Simple assembly/use instructions, ideally a one-page PDF or illustrated sheet. 4. Optional but welcome: a short GIF or render showing the daily lids being opened to prove the child-proof concept. Acceptance criteria • Test slice on my end shows no unrepairable mesh errors. • Total print time under 24 h on standard “0.2 mm Quality” profile. • All 31 lids align correctly and stay shut in an upside-down shake test while still opening smoothly with the intended motion. I will double the prize for a concept that surprises me with genuine practicality or an elegant aesthetic twist. Show me your best idea, and let’s make forgetting medication a thing of the past.
