About the project
I’m building a polished, classic-yet-timeless formalwear line and need a designer who can take each piece from concept to factory-ready documentation. The core brief covers elegant suits, dresses, and complementary separates, all rooted in a refined aesthetic rather than fleeting trends. Alongside the formal range, I’m also exploring a capsule of relaxed items—T-shirts, jeans, and jackets—so versatility in switching between dressy and casual silhouettes will be valuable. Here’s what I expect you to deliver: • Hand or digital concept sketches for every garment • Cohesive color palettes with fabric swatch suggestions • Fabric and trim recommendations that balance quality with production practicality • Detailed, manufacturer-ready tech packs (measurements, construction notes, BOM, and call-outs) prepared in Illustrator or equivalent software If you work in CLO 3D or similar for virtual sampling, let me know—it’s a plus but not mandatory. Consistent communication, precise specs, and an eye for proportion are critical, as I plan to move quickly from design sign-off to sampling. Send over a concise portfolio highlighting any classic or formal pieces, and note your typical turnaround per style so we can map milestones.
