About the project

I am looking for a Civil 3D specialist who can take an existing LiDAR point-cloud and turn it into a clean, accurate as-built drawing for a road corridor. The data has already been captured and is ready for processing; what I need now is the technical expertise to convert it into dependable Autodesk AutoCAD Civil 3D (or Trimble Business Center) deliverables that meet current roadway standards. Your role will be to import and classify the point cloud, generate the surface, extract breaklines where necessary, and produce a full set of road as-built files. That includes correct layering, coordinate integrity, and geometry that can be dropped straight into our design workflow for further detailing by our in-house team. Ensuring compliance with local design codes and maintaining drawing clarity are essential. Deliverables • Civil 3D (or TBC) model and surface file • Layered DWG plan view suitable for downstream design • Any companion files (styles, point groups, XML) needed for seamless hand-off I expect you to work independently, coordinate when questions arise, and keep turnaround tight while balancing accuracy. If you have 1–3 years of hands-on roadway modelling experience, a solid grasp of point-cloud workflows, and the ability to communicate progress clearly, let’s get started.
