About the project

I already have a finished 3D model of a lamp with a flexible shade, and I’m looking for someone who can create a realistic wind animation for it. The 3D model is already completed, so I don’t need the lamp itself to be modeled from scratch. I can provide the existing model in Blender format or export it from Rhino in any suitable 3D file format. What I need is an animation where the flexible part of the lampshade moves naturally and subtly, as if a gentle breeze is blowing through it. The lamp structure itself should remain stationary, while only the flexible shade responds to the wind. The movement should be quite subtle and realistic. I don’t want the shade to behave like a very thin piece of fabric or a flag blowing strongly in the wind. The material is thicker and has more weight and stiffness, almost leather-like, so the movement should feel soft, slow, and controlled. I can also provide a video of the actual lamp as a visual reference, so you can see exactly how the shade should behave and what kind of movement I’m trying to achieve. Essentially, I already have the 3D object and only need the wind/cloth animation and simulation added to it. Also I want the same colour as the real one!
