About the project

I have a pipework layout that now needs to be turned into a clean 3-D model in Autodesk Inventor. The drafting has been started, but our draftsperson has had an accident and will be off for 2 weeks. The goal is an accurate, fully-parametric assembly that complies with the usual industry standards for pressure pipe—think ASME / ISO rules for diameters, bend radii, branch connections and wall thicknesses. It will also be necessary to Liase with our Canadian consultant to fine tune the drawings.. There is other work to do as well. • Inventor .iam and .ipt files, organised by sub-assembly • A generated BOM showing item numbers, descriptions and material specs • A quick set of PDFs or DWFs for visual review I’ll check that fittings line up, that the model regenerates without errors, and that callouts match the standards noted above. Once everything passes that review, the job is complete.
