Cinematic Explanatory Reel Editing
INR 600–1500
About the project
I’m creating a series of 60- to 90-second vertical explainers for YouTube Shorts and Instagram Reels and need an editor who can give each video a serious, fact-based, almost documentary feel without drifting into click-bait. Think of the visual language you see on premium Hindi channels such as Dhruv Rathee or Nitish Rajput—smooth cinematic pacing, layered scientific graphics, and clean explanatory text—but with completely original assets and style. What the cut must include: • Carefully chosen stock footage blended with real-world clips and verified news channel footage to ground every claim. • Custom animations, 3D map fly-throughs, and dynamic text overlays that clarify complex points in seconds. • Subtle motion design that feels intriguing yet realistic; no over-the-top effects. • Crisp colour treatment, balanced audio, and royalty-free background music that supports the narrative rather than overwhelms it. I will supply the core research sources—articles, reports, and any must-show headlines. You’ll be responsible for sourcing complementary stock footage and weaving everything into a tight 1080 × 1920 (9:16) master file ready for upload. Deliverables – One fully-edited vertical video (60-90 s, H.264). – Organised project file (Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or After Effects) with all linked media. – Up to one revision round for factual or pacing tweaks. If you have a knack for marrying hard facts with cinematic storytelling, let’s talk.
