About the project
We are looking for an experienced 3D modeller / digital sculptor to recreate the historic Louis XV / Rococo fireplace shown in the attached photographs. The model will be used to produce a full-scale (1:1) physical reconstruction for a museum exhibition in Zurich. Scope Faithful reconstruction based on the available historical photographs Focus on geometry, proportions, profiles and sculptural ornamentation Approximate overall dimensions: 125 × 110 × 33 cm No textures, materials, UV mapping, rendering or animation required Details not clearly visible in the photographs may be reconstructed in a visually plausible manner CNC requirements The final model will be used for CNC milling. We therefore require: clean, high-resolution geometry correct 1:1 scale watertight/manifold geometry suitable for fabrication no problematic intersections logical separation into components where useful for CNC production no CAM programming, toolpaths or G-code required Deliverables STL and OBJ files suitable for subsequent CAM/CNC processing Native/source file (Blender, ZBrush, Rhino, 3ds Max or equivalent)
