Character Animator for Original 3D YouTube Series

About the project

3D / AI-Assisted Character Animator – Paid Animation Trial I’m creating an original 3D character for a YouTube series and am looking for an animator for a short paid trial animation. The character design and overall visual style are already established. The focus of this project is to animate the existing character while keeping its appearance and proportions consistent throughout the shot. Paid Animation Test The trial will be approximately 5–8 seconds and will include: - One existing character - A simple outdoor setting - Basic body movement - Facial expressions - A friendly waving gesture - Subtle secondary animation - No dialogue or lip-sync - No additional characters Character references and detailed instructions will be provided to the selected animator. Production Methods I’m open to different professional workflows, including: - Traditional 3D animation - AI-assisted animation - Image-to-video techniques - 3D + AI hybrid workflows - Other suitable professional approaches The software itself is not the main consideration. The quality and consistency of the final animation are what matter most. The character should remain stable throughout the shot, with no obvious facial changes, anatomy inconsistencies, hand deformation, unexpected color shifts, or other AI/video artifacts. Expected Quality The final result should be: - Smooth and polished - Warm and appropriate for preschool audiences - Natural and intentional in movement - Professionally presented and lit - Consistent from frame to frame A clean, simple environment is completely fine. The priority is character animation and visual consistency, rather than a complex background. Deliverables The selected animator will provide: - Completed 5–8 second animation - 1920 × 1080 resolution - 16:9 aspect ratio - MP4 / H.264 format - 24 or 30 FPS - One high-resolution still frame - Basic information about the tools/workflow used - Source/project files where the workflow allows - One reasonable revision Budget Fixed-price paid test: $5 This is a genuine paid test and is not an unpaid sample request. Possibility of Ongoing Work The purpose of this test is to find a reliable animator and suitable production workflow for the series. If the test is successful, there may be additional paid animation projects as the YouTube series develops.
