250 mL PET Bottle CAD Engineering
INR 12500–37500
About the project
This project covers the complete technical development of a 250 mL premium cocktail pre-mix container in food-grade PET. I need a production-ready 3D CAD model that balances eye-catching shelf appeal with the practical demands of high-speed filling lines—good conveyor stability, reliable top-load performance, and smooth, repeatable handling by grippers. Key engineering points • Accurate volumetric and overflow calculations so the nominal 250 mL fill is achieved within standard tolerances. • Ergonomic form that feels secure in hand yet nests efficiently on pallets. • Closure design: I currently favour a screw cap but I am open to fresh ideas (foil seal or a custom neck finish) if you can demonstrate clear functional or branding benefits. • All geometry must respect blow-moulding constraints for PET, including appropriate draft angles, wall-thickness distribution, and material stretch ratios. Deliverables 1. Native 3D CAD file (SolidWorks, STEP, or comparable neutral format) of the complete container. 2. Brief calculation report showing brim-full volume, headspace, and overflow data. 3. Fully dimensioned 2D technical drawing set suitable for tooling release, including neck finish specs and critical tolerances. Timeline Everything needs to be wrapped up within a month, allowing a short review cycle for minor edits before final sign-off. Acceptance I will consider the work complete once the drawings are cleanly toleranced, the CAD passes a quick interference check in my own software, and the volume report confirms <±1 % variance at 20 °C. If you have recent PET bottle or beverage-pack experience—especially with SolidWorks, Siemens NX, or CATIA—and can meet the timing, I’m eager to see how you would approach this challenge.
