About the project

Cinematic 3D Wildlife Animation — 60 Second Chimpanzee Raid Budget: $1,000 USD — Fixed Format: 9:16 Vertical Length: 60 seconds Script & Voiceover: Provided I’m looking for a high-end 3D animation professional or experienced production team/studio to create a 60 seconds cinematic wildlife video about how chimpanzees conduct territorial raids against rival chimpanzee groups. This is NOT a basic 3D animation project. I’m looking for something that feels directed like a movie or premium wildlife documentary, with realistic chimpanzee movement, carefully choreographed action, excellent cinematography, cinematic lighting, strong sound design, and professional editing. The video will be produced specifically for Youtube shorts or TikTok in 9:16 vertical format, so the cinematography, composition, action, and editing must be designed specifically for a vertical frame. What Will Be Provided ● Complete script ● Finished narrator voiceover ● Chimpanzee 3D models can be provided if necessary unless you already have a great detailed chimp model The animation and editing should be built around the provided narration. What I Expect The project will require: ● Photorealistic/realistic chimpanzee animation ● Realistic running, climbing, chasing, fighting, reactions, and group movement ● Action choreography involving multiple chimpanzees ● Movie-quality cinematography ● Dynamic tracking shots ● Low-angle, close-up, wide, overhead, and POV-style shots where appropriate ● Purposeful lens choices and camera movement ● Strong composition and visual storytelling ● Cinematic forest/environment design ● Realistic lighting and rendering ● Color grading ● Professional sound design ● Fast, engaging editing suitable for TikTok ● A polished final video that feels like a short cinematic sequence, rather than a standard 3D animation For example, I may want the opening to begin with a low-angle tracking close-up of a chimpanzee running through the environment, before the camera moves upward and reveals that an entire patrol is moving with him. They eventually locate rival chimpanzees, leading into charges, pursuits, confrontations, and multiple pieces of action happening throughout the sequence. The video should remain visually engaging and action-driven for most of its runtime while still maintaining clear storytelling and realistic chimpanzee behavior. The action does not need excessive gore but I still expect to see some blood and violence in it. The priority is realistic, intense, cinematic wildlife action. IMPORTANT — Please Read Before Contacting Me Please do not apply unless you have RECENT work demonstrating this level of quality. I will need to see previous recent projects involving cinematic 3D animation, realistic creatures/animals, action sequences, VFX, cinematics, or genuinely comparable high-end work. If you have not produced work at this level before—or have not done comparable work recently—please do not apply. I am specifically trying to avoid spending time discussing the project only to later discover that the required quality is outside your normal work. Please don’t tell me only what you can create. Show me work that demonstrates it. Production Team Because this project involves animation, cinematography, action choreography, lighting/rendering, environments, editing, color grading, and sound design, I am open to and expect that multiple specialists may be involved. If you operate as a team/studio, please explain which team members would handle: 3D/Creature Animation • Cinematography/Layout • Environment • Lighting/Rendering • VFX • Editing • Color • Sound Design If you are an individual artist capable of handling several of these areas at a genuinely high level, please explain your workflow. Budget The budget for the completed 60 second video is $1,000 USD fixed. Please only apply if you are confident you can achieve the quality described above within this budget. I am willing to provide suitable chimpanzee models/assets to reduce unnecessary modeling costs and allow more of the budget and production time to go toward animation, action choreography, cinematography, lighting, rendering, editing, and sound design. When Responding Please send me: 1. Your most recent and most relevant work FIRST. 2. Examples containing realistic creature/animal animation or comparable high-quality character animation. 3. Examples demonstrating cinematic action sequences and strong camera work. 4. The software/rendering pipeline you would use for this project. 5. Whether you work individually or with a team. 6. Your estimated production timeline. 7. A brief explanation of how you would approach a project like this within the $1,000 fixed budget. Portfolio quality is the most important factor in my decision. I am not looking for someone who can simply animate chimpanzee models. I need someone who can direct an entire sequence cinematically and make the audience feel like they are inside the raid because I’m trying to get a strong watch time here. If the first project is successful, I am interested in producing more cinematic wildlife videos in this format, so there is potential for ongoing work.
