About the project
• Build a 3-statement financial model (P&L, balance sheet, cash flow) • Create revenue and expense projections (monthly for Year 1, quarterly/annual for Years 2–3) • Calculate key financial metrics (gross margin, burn rate, runway, break-even point, CAC/LTV if applicable) • Sensitivity/scenario analysis (best case, base case, worst case) • Clean, presentable spreadsheet format (Excel/Google Sheets) suitable for sharing with investors or lenders Ideal candidate: • Background in accounting or finance (CPA, financial analyst, or equivalent experience) • Strong Excel/Google Sheets modeling skills • Experience building projections for startups or small businesses • Able to explain assumptions clearly, not just deliver numbers Deliverables: • Editable financial model file • Short summary/notes explaining key assumptions and metrics Please share relevant experience or past financial models you’ve built when applying.
