About the project

I’ve sketched a small project that I’d like to run on a CNC laser cutter and now need a clean, production-ready STEP file. The material will be plywood, so you can assume the layout should suit laser-cut sheet stock and account for typical kerf on wood. You’ll take my rough dimensions and translate them into a single, accurate 3D model with every profile closed and ready to nest. I’m happy to provide a PDF or hand-drawn diagram—whichever makes it easiest for you to nail the geometry. Once done, you’ll send back: • The finished STEP file, organised on one plane for laser cutting • A quick preview image so I can confirm everything before I head to the shop Please keep corner fillets, tabs, and any recommended joinery in mind for plywood. If you spot a tweak that would improve strength or cut quality, let me know—I appreciate the insight.
